Images taken for my magazine

These are the images that I have taken for my magazine. I planned my photo shoot and took photos for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. I made sure I took plenty of photos with different lighting and poses so that once I put them on the computer I could choose and see what ones look better.

Contents page draft

This is a draft for my contents page for my music magazine. I collected images from the Internet, I used Photoshop to edit the images, such as cropping and altering effects like brightness to make the pictures look better. Then I used Illustrator to add text and make the page look how I want it too in my final contents page. 

 

 

Front cover draft

 

This is the draft of my front cover. I have used an image from the Internet of someone similar to the artist that is going to be featured in my magazine. I used Photoshop to edit my image and then used Illustrator to add text. I have used all of the typical magazine conventions on this draft, for example buzz words. This is what I would like my music magazine to look like when I have finished it. 

 

Front cover artist

This post is about the artist I want to appear on the front cover of my magazine. This images I have chosen are from the internet but match the style of my artist. I have written about the artists interests and career so that my audience know more about who they are reading about.

Title Block Results

This is the title block design that got the most votes in the poll. I did end up choosing this title block because I know it is popular with the audience and I think it was the best one out of the four.

This is a mood board made up of different music magazine front covers. I made this mood board because it helped me see the variety there is and the difference between the magazines. This then helped me discover what one I liked the most and determine what I wanted my front cover to look like.
