The typical conventions of a double page spread are a large image,
a quote,the feature of the articles name somewhere on the page, a 'stand’ which is a small explanation at the beginning of the article explaining what it is about. Text, images, headline,by-lines, colour scheme, drop capital and quotes. These features will usually always be on a double page spread.
